COMING AUGUST 09!!!!! Deluxe Turning Target Retriever "from ACTION TARGET".
180 degree Turning Target.
Using the deluxe version of their target retriever system this gives the range 180 degree turning target capability, which makes your range more valuable for training of law enforcement and law enforcement and more entertaining for the public. As the trolley moves up and down the range, your paper or cardboard target can turn from edge, to face, to the opposite face, or any combination of the three positions. This dynamic turning target technology will dramatically improve your indoor range experience at our range not found at other ranges in the area.
Retriever Controls
 We also use the Action Target's Smart Pad™. Smart Pad is an electronic keypad gives the shooter the ability to automatically send the target to pre-determined positions along the track i.e. 3 yards, 10 yards, etc. You can also program the Smart Pad to remember and replay a series of distances and positions so that multiple shooters can shoot the exact same course of fire. This increases the accuracy and efficiency for firearms instructors and Range Masters. At Gilbert’s we have also incorporated Action Target's computerized Master Control Unit for Range Masters and Instructors. The Master Control Unit gives the range master total control over every target from a single location. Targets can be controlled individually, all at once, or in various groupings.
Sharpshooters Small Arms Range utilizing Action Target’s Deluxe Retriever with its turning capabilities and Smart Pad to control the targets can: (Particulary efficient in firing the FLETC Basic Pistol Course).
- Move the target back andforth anywhere along the track.
- Automatically send the target to pre-determined positions on the track.
- Control the turning action of the target (180 degrees in both directions).
- Program the Smart Pad to replay a series of target positions and turning actions
